2014 College Scholarship Program
The Children Sports International College Scholarship program is a competitive scholarship available for students enrolled full-time in a college or university in California. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic and athletic achievement, leadership and contributions to the community. Awards are up to $1000. Applications will be accepted from June 1st through July 31st. Winners will be notified no later than Sept 30th.
- Be 23 years of age or younger at time of applying
- Be a high school senior or graduate
- Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited college or university located in California.
- Played at least one sport during high school or college, either with their school or through a private club/ group.
- Use funds towards educational expenses.
How to Apply
Are you a student athlete who exhibits leadership, integrity and determination, both on and off the field? Applying is simple: all we need is an application, 1 personal reference, a 500 word essay, and a 2 minute video. Winners will receive up to $1,000 toward educational expenses.

This student has proven that they are a leader in their sport and also in their community. This student has dedicated time and effort to help contribute to a greater cause. Their dedication to “helping inspire change” has made an impact in the lives of others. They are thoughtful, giving, and committed to giving back to a community in need or the next generation. This student has demonstrated excellence in sports regardless of their background and life circumstances. This student’s hard work and determination have led to noteworthy athletic achievements, perhaps overcoming obstacles or setbacks in the process.
